Emotional stresses and Family conflicts as well as financial stresses often arise. Family members frequently suffer from guilt feelings or they may become depressed and anxious. Helplessness is a common feeling. It is well known that caregivers have a higher risk of developing an illness.
Ms. Johnston completed post- graduate Family Therapy training at the Family Therapy Institute of Westchester. Her specialty is in working with family members who are struggling with the care of a loved one. Ms. Johnston works with the family to resolve issues. She also works with family members who may be depressed and anxious.
